Each slate has its own unique surface. By splitting the stone blocks and hewing, rough surfaces and broken edges with individual looks and colour variations are created.
Slight deviations in dimensions, unevenness of surfaces and edges or mineral inclusions are normal and do not constitute a defect! They are evidence of the natural origin and individual manufacturing processes.

Lapis® D - a reversible slate plate
A total of eight stainless steel balls are arranged on the top and bottom of the slate board so that the melting pot with glass cylinder can be used on one side.
The steel balls on the other side provide an air gap and ventilation underneath the slate plate and thus prevent heat accumulation under the wax burner.
Lapis® D is always needed when the wax burner is used.

Lapis® QB
Only on the upper side of the slate are four stainless steel balls fixed.
On the underside plastic caps cover the screw connection of the balls. The plastic caps also serve as furniture protection.

Lapis® RB
with 4 balls and support strips
Lapis RB has 4 balls mounted on one side (see illustration). This is where the candle or crucible is positioned. The ball spacing is designed so that the glass cylinder (see shop) can also be placed between the balls.
