The lantern CeraFlare is only used in the outdoor area on the balcony, terrace, in the garden and along the way to atmospheric lighting. Unless you replace the crucible with a suitable candle. Then CeraFlare can also be used as a normal lantern in the house! We have created a series of examples which can be seen on photos under the heading "Lapis". 
 
In the special burner with glass fiber wick, commercially available candle wax is burned or - and that is the highlight - you simply use residual candles! The best firing result is achieved with paraffin wax. 
 
The glass cylinder (Ø 125 x 147 mm) consists of a special high-temperature glass (borosilicate glass). In the KSxxx version, the glass cylinder has a satin hem. The satin is created by a sandblasting process and can no longer be removed. In the KBxxx version, the glass cylinder remains bare, untreated. 
 
 Various solutions are available for the thermal insulation of the crucible and burner. In the simplest case, a stainless steel support is used, on which the glass cylinder is also placed. The stainless steel support has on its underside non-slip rubber feet. Heat is dissipated through the side ventilation slots and the underside is cooled. 
 
 This arrangement is designed as thermal insulation, which ensures that temperatures of only 35 ~ 40 ° C occur on the underside. This corresponds approximately to the human body temperature. 
 
 In combination with slate, there are further very beautiful and stylish variations. We offer two sizes of slate slabs. Once as a rectangle in the format of approx. 25 x 40 x 0.5 cm and once as a square with an edge length of approx. 20 x 20 x 0.5 cm. Each slate has its own unique surface. Splitting the stone blocks and carving creates rough surfaces and broken edges with an individual look and color variation. Slight deviations in dimensions, unevenness of surfaces and edges or mineral inclusions are normal and do not represent a defect in the product! They are evidence of the natural origin and individual manufacturing processes.
