Then CeraFlare can also be used indoors as a normal lantern! We have created a series of examples as photos under the heading ‘Lapis’.
 
The special burner with glass fibre wick burns standard candle wax or - and this is the highlight - you can simply use leftover candles! However, the best burning result is achieved with paraffin wax.
 
The glass cylinder (Ø 125 x 147 mm) is made of a special high-temperature-resistant glass (borosilicate glass). In the KSxxx version, the glass cylinder has a satinised rim. The satin finish is created by a sandblasting process and cannot be removed.
 
Various solutions are available for the thermal insulation of the crucible and burner. In the simplest case, a stainless steel support is used, on which the glass cylinder also stands. The stainless steel support is supported on the underside by non-slip rubber feet. Heat is dissipated through lateral ventilation slots and the underside is cooled.
 
This arrangement is designed as thermal insulation, which ensures that temperatures on the underside are only 35~40°C. This corresponds roughly to human body temperature. This is roughly equivalent to human body temperature.
